Designation: 20th University Entry Scheme (20 UES) for Permanent Commission in the Army

Job Description:

Applications are invited from unmarried male and female Engineering Degree students studying in Final year or pre-final year during academic year 2011-2012 for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army.

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech

Vacancies : 60 posts (for UES) (Branches having vacancies: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Architecture)

Age : Final Year Degree candidate - Not below 19 years and not over 25 years (Born in between 2nd July 1986 and 1st July 1992) and for Pre-Final Year Degree Candidates - Not below 18 years and not over 24 years.(Born in between 2nd July 1987 and 1st July 1992)

Physical Standard : (a) Min. height & Weight: For Men:157.5 cm  with correlated weight, For women: 152cm , 42 kg (b) Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision  6/6 and worst eye sight 6/18.

How to Apply:
Apply on the plain paper as per the prescribed format. The envelope (white) containing the application should be Superscribed in Red ink indicating clearly the branch of Engineering applied for i.e ' Applicaitons for 20 UES Entry : ......... Engineering.
